No cake for you.

Good Afternoon.
I feel as this is my first post I should explain why? The why has two parts.
Part 1.
Very recently I was diagnosed with coeliac disease - I was fairly naive to what it was I thought it had to do with a blood disease. Coeliacs basically means I can't eat gluten. Gluten is found in many goodies- bread, cake, pasta and even some soya sauce. I thought I'd only really be allowed to eat veggies and fruit for the rest of my life. That made me feel pretty sorry for myself as I'm kind of a sweet tooth and being in love with pasta you can imagine my grief. Or my heart ache when I realised my cup of tea wouldn't be partnered with a handsome piece of cake, a scone or Anzac biscuit, OH how wrong I was. I learned this isn't the case, there is heaps out there its just about learning where to find it, or getting your hands dirty and making it! I'm feeling positive now, I'm still learning but I'd like to share my journey of discovering the goodness of gluten free.

Just for instance my Mum baked me the top four cupcakes gluten free for my 21st. I'll have you know they tasted delicious. you can't tell the difference and how good do they look!
Please note: I believe my mother is highly talented

Until next time....
