Brad & Jade say I do!!

Our dear friends Jade & Brad beautifully committed their lives to each other. It was our first couple out of our friends to get married so for our group it was a big one filled with excitement, happiness and emotion. Most of us had the honour to be part of the wedding party and that made it even more special. It was an amazing day and was so special and such an honour to be apart of their very wonderful day. Now I don't want to take away for the wonder of what is saying I do but I must make a small comment on the food.... Now my mouth is starting to water as I remember the nights dinner hehe. It was an alternate drop and I hit the jackpot in my opinion, for entree I got prawns (I don't usually eat prawns) my my they were fantastic and all gluten free yay for Dell! Main I received chicken again so good and I thought well I'm not going to receive a third amazing dish.... Oh was I wrong pannacotta a favourite of mine and I wasn't disappointed. In my experience an amazing wedding doesn't always equal amazing food but wow I had a fabulous day with a fabulous dinner.

Here are some pictures of Jade and Brad's special day, such a lovely day!

Twenty two

So for my 22nd birthday I decided that the celebrations would start at Hula Bula Bar in the City with all my favourite guys and dolls and then we'd swing over (with dancing shoes on) to Devilles Pad for some Sinful Sangria & a swing-a-round the dance floor with my ladies. Now there was strictly no plates of food consumed but there was some pineapple and orange in our cocktails so mum would be happy.

I had such a good night and it was made more memorable by all my favourite people being there (well some special ones weren't able to make it). All of them were part of the 22 years of Miss Adelle becoming an adult and starting to chose the path in which I would go and starting the journey of who I will and have become. These are the people that when I think back I see in all of the most happiest, funniest, special, fabulous, wonderful and pivotal moments of my young life.

So a toast and thank you to all my dearest for making my 22nd another special and wonderful memory to add to the many many we share together. Thank you for your love, friendship, support, dances, singing, laughing, cocktails, hugs and memories.

I love you all dearly.

Food for me

My dear old Dada treated me to a lovely free range and gluten free break(fast) May I say Food for me in East Victoria Park HERE is a fabulous little eatery for the gluten free inclined. It was quite a  lovely little  morning and was enjoyed by Dad, Justine, Tobias and we ate yummy sausage, eggs and gluten free bread. Oh! I forgot Mr Earl Grey did accompany me too... Meals with people you love always seem to make the meal/eatery a lot more memorable and lovely.

Kitchenaid, brownie cake & Duende

The fourteenth of March marks the day I was born. I do get pretty excited for my birthday as My mumma and dad always made us feel super special on our birthday, not to mention I share it with the one and only Talyor Hanson of MMMbop fame.

So my first birthday surprise was from my man, he bought me a lovely kitchenaid! I was so excited it was like Taylor Hanson had walked into our house I jumped and screamed like a 10 year. So feeling still very giddy and smitten I decided to make myself a Brownie Happy Birthday cake with my new baby blue magic machine! This is the finished product, it was amazing in my completely bias opinion.

My second surprise was my mumma taking me out to the most amazing eatery. Its a little cute place called Duende and they have such a wonderful gluten free menu. Its not one of those places that says their gluten free friendly and then has one thing on the menu thats gluten free or says something you choose is gluten free and you spend the rest if the night feeling like death because it wasn't!
The menu had so much tapas and mains to have all gluten free. We choose around 5 dishes potatoe bravas, beetroot and goats cheese salad, chilli squid and chorizo and beef cheek and polenta. My favourite dish was beef cheek and polenta it was so amazing I just kept wanting more and more my mum found it funny I was so excited by the beef and polenta. Accompanied with some yummy Sangria made our dinner so enjoyable. Our last dish was so delish a raspberry pannacotta with yoghurt sorbet, warning if you enjoy super creamy splendid delights order this dessert it was sooo fantastic.
Aside from the fabulous food the atmosphere was so cute, it was very Melbourne lots of cool furniture, candles, art, super smooth music & great waiters. I don't know if it was the fine food or very spanish sangria but I didn't really want to leave and left feeling like we'd just spend an evening in my own version on Willy Wonka's chocolate  gluten free factory.

All the photos I took of the food just didn't do it justice as the lighting was so romantic but the photos of how it felt looking around looked pretty lovely.

So I'd recommend this little place to anyone who is Gluten Free and totally in love with melbourne, fine  food, good service and if you get giddy over/on Sangria

Mi Dispiace

I am home sick and stuck in one place  so I thought I'd take some time to blog. I realised I hadn't blogged since February... Bit lazy. So I'm going to catch up on the last two months which have been busy. My birthday, dear friends getting married, Easter, Girls nights, last goodbyes to summer and family dinners.

So let the blogging begin!

Bon a petit!

Early on Monday morning my Mumma and I strolled into a very sleepy Leederville to Giardini's a cute little eatery. We sat down and to my delight they served Gluten free french toast yes! French toast!! Which was so good I have been craving french toast for awhile. So if you are in the mood for an especially sweet breakfast with one of your favourites I'd suggest Giardini's they are always so accommodating with gluten free and always so friendly!
Take a look at them next time you're in Leederville or here

Hi Hi!

So firstly I'd like to say sorry for being so absent but don't worry I have many gluten free treasures to share.

Now I know it's already Feb... but my talented Mumma made christmas very yummy and I thought I'd share how she made gluten free heaven. Banoffe pie, quiche, banana bread, brownies and stuffed potatoes.... my mum was at the hospital with my sister christmas eve so she made Gluten Free Christmas Breakfast a.k.a Gluten free Heaven from 3 am Christmas Morning for 7. God she's so good and yes it was delish.... she has become the gluten free queen I tell ya, she made it all from scratch!!!. I'm going to have to get her to write a Gluten free recipe book. Please let your mouth water and tummy grumble as you look at these delish treats. Yes it was a Happy Holiday at the Di Mambro/Humphreys household.

I did put on a lot of weight during the Holidays thanks Mumma :)
